Yeh Tanhai aur Tum

Yeh raat jab hoti hai,jab andhera chata hai

Yeh soonapan tumhari yaad le ati hai.

Tumhare sath bitaye wo do haseen pal,who meethi baatein

Saath le aati hai,yeh tanha raatein.

Mat mila karo mujhse, akhir tumhe bhul jana hai

Bus apni yaadein de do,akhir inhike sahare hi to jeena hai.

pyar karne ki tumhe saza bahut humko mili

Par jindagi jine ki koi to wajah mili.

Tu mili nahi mujhe to kaise ji payunga?

Pata nahi gum yeh judai ka kaise sah payunga

Yeh tanhai aur tum sath kyun baste ho

Mere dil ke karib ho kar bhi, kyun itne duur rahte ho?

This poem raises a very imporant question... What happens, when somebody breaks your heart... when a relation for which you are ready to die for, does not work out...?

Are we brave enough to move on? Or should we keep on thinking what had gone wrong... Don't you think that in relationship like love, since there are two parties involved, it is not necessary that the other person also loves me, as much as I love that person...?

I see love as prayer, and like any prayer, it may/may not come true, but when it does not come true, does it question the power of the prayer itself?

Is it in our hand that the prayer b heard? How do we deal with reality, a situation where the outcome does not depend on our hand at all. In a pure relation like love, there is no room for false pretences. So we cannot also blame ourselves for not trying hard enough(after all, it is not a case of Chhai Din, Ladki In!)... So is there anyone to blame? If our wish is not the wish of the Almighty, how do we rationalize the situation? Can we say, maybe it was not a part of the divine plan... But do we do injustice to the concept of love itself, by blaming us for that relationship, maybe something for which we are not responsible...
What do you think?
